Mashups are everywhere but storywheel, is a little bit too cool to ignore. Maybe I am biased. Maybe its because it combines two of my most favourite web apps? Instagram and Soundcloud.
I love instagram. I have used it to record my two kids growing up and for that, I will forever be thankful. Soundcloud, well, maybe I should use it more. But it has the same simplicity and value, only sounds. Storywheel allows Instagram users to import their favorite photos, in my case the kids, and then simply record an audio narrative via the site while clicking through the slides. A slightly different take on my Instagram / Animoto mashup.
The mashup is the newest product out of Soundcloud Labs, where I also found TakesQuestions – a simple audio Q and A. So, three tools to check out for yourselves. Hmmm, I thinking Parent Engagement here.
