Feedback you ask for?

Jim Kouzes (Dean’s Executive Professor of Leadership, Leavey School of Business, Santa Clara University) said nearly two million people had taken their 360-degree feedback tool. The statement that consistently receives the lowest rating is, “Asks for feedback on how his/her actions affect other people’s performance.”

You don’t receive feedback because you don’t ask.

I found this very interesting and was wondering how, in a new role from January I might try and address this. Or, how I might invite colleagues to ask for feedback. Any suggestions?
