Its a neat way to share a list of websites with students. Its social bookmarking meets tinyurl. Here is my gl.am for Unit 4 of the OCR Nationals, sites to help students deal with creating a housestyle, http://gl.am/hK7Et.
Simply create a folder or group name (Unit4), input your website addresses and gl.am grabs a thunmbnail and provides the link. Instead of sharing a list of websites, share one gl.am link. Just a few of the suggestions, but I think I have highlighted the main resources for teachers.
- Easily shorten URLs
- Store an infinit amount of URLs into one single short URL with our Link Groups
- Create a step-by-step tutorial for other users. Example: http://gl.am/YhPO
