Web Classification

An internet service provider offering web filtering that uses the same classification certificates as the UK film industry has launched.

Well, classification finally comes to the web. Its hardly surprising its taken so long, the internet is a colossus structure to catalogue. I am not convinced that classifications for film can be applied to the internet. Should blogging be restricted to the over 15s? If you are in agreement and are happy to pay £19.99 to guide your childrens surfing over 3 Billion websites, then Tibboh could be your next ISP.

The Long and Short of it.

The long and the short of it is if the teacher touches the technology more than the students, then it has little chance of transforming the learning environment. Jim Klein

#MMUK10 @ Moodle Monthly

I would normally write my reflections here, obviously, after all, it is my blog. However I am going to make an two exceptions and here is why. Over the past 12 months @Josephthibault has offered his support, help and occasional prompt in our Moodle journey. So when Joseph made a call for guest comments on #mootuk10 Day we made every effort to repay him. Rather hurriedly we wrote a review which Joseph posted to Moodle Monthly, Late this evening @cragman69 emailed his draft of #mootuk10 Day 2, to which I added my observations and have just emailed the outline to Joseph.

So if you are a Moodler, take five minutes to browse the site, I am confident you will find numerous moodle posts of interest and perhaps some new connections. If you don’t find what you are looking for, I am certain Joseph will know a moodler that can!
